How-To Balance Your Chocolate Intake With The Bodies PH Level

Why is balanced pH important?
Your body pH is something you must not ignore if you wish to maintain excellent health, regain lost immunity, or maintain proper weight. The farther away from perfect balance pH travels ( Acidic VS Alkaline) the more serious health problems you will develop and the more difficult it may be to maintain proper weight.

The body has a specific pH value. In fact, each of the body fluids has a specific pH value. The blood, for example, has a more alkaline pH balance averaging between 7.1 and 7.4. The saliva and urine are more acidic, averaging between 6.4 and 6.6. You can find out what yours is through the use of PH test strips. Urine testing will be the most accurate aside from a blood test. Saliva being the least because it is part of the digestive track.

Eating Chocolate With Balance:
Given the fact that not all chocolate is created equal...at least in the finished product.

The more processing that is involved, generally removes more of the flavonoids plus adding a host of nasty stuff in the process. Like sugars, bad fats, food coloring, do I need to go on?

It is known that Dark chocolate contains the most flavonoids and provides the most qualities, in which destroys the bodies harmful free-radicals that cause illness and disease. That’s a good thing!

Chocolate is moderately acidic, not extremely or slightly acidic. If you eat too much chocolate you will loose the pH balance causing your body to go into a never ending acidic cycle creating those free radicals only to have those flavonoids and antioxidants from dark chocolate destroy the free radicals. Over and over again! Leaving the rest of your body at risk too other nutritional deficiencies.

You will still need to eat your veggies and fruits for there values. Plus a excellent source of high quality vitamins and minerals.

In order to balance your pH Use the 70/30 Rule …… 70% alkaline foods and 30% acidic foods.

You can find charts on the net that detail which foods are alkaline and which are acidic. Biologists and chemists get the pH of foods from what is called an ash test.

Ash Test:
In general terms, when you eat food your stomachs acids break down the food into an ash.The body utilizes the ash and its nutrients for all its functions. The ash only is tested for alkalinity or acidity.

Daily Intake Of Dark Chocolate:
A safe amount of daily intake of high quality 70% dark chocolate is about 12 grams 2 to 3 times a day to get the most health benefits of antioxidants and flavonoids, in which by the way, they only last 5 to 6 hours in your body. Any more than that, you are extremely helping your body into an acidic state, in combination with all the other foods that you eat daily.

The remedy is basically “Remember” and use the 70/30 Rule.
